The Kaprun reservoirs are located in the middle of the fascinating alpine world of the Hohe Tauern range. The fresh mountain air, the lush alpine vegetation, the turquoise water of the reservoirs, and the snow and ice-covered peaks leave you with vivid impressions. Your ascent begins with a bus ride through a natural stone tunnel to the Lärchenwand funicular. You will then continue by bus to the Mooserboden reservoir.
The Krimml Waterfalls, located in the romantic valley head of Upper Pinzgau, are also Europe’s highest (vertical drop of 380 m). They were distinguished with the European Diploma for Nature Conservation and constitute the heart of Hohe Tauern National Park.

If you just want to take a look at the mountains from the water, a panoramic tour is the perfect choice. Your view extends from the grass-covered mountains over the snow-covered Hohe Tauern to the rocky limestone Alps.
The most famous alpine road ends in front of the pièce de résistance of Hohe Tauern National Park: the highest mountain and the largest glacier in Austria, the Grossglockner (3,798 m) and the Pasterze. On the drive up to the 1500 m Kaiser Franz Josefs Höhe, you will cross all vegetation zones, from grain fields to a world of eternal ice. You will then continue to the enchanting village of Heiligenblut, popular with mountaineers, through magnificent Iseltal valley in East Tyrol, then back along the Felbertauernstraße.
Hohensalzburg Fortress is enthroned on the Festungsberg, high above the rooftops of the Baroque historical district. The biggest fully preserved castle in Central Europe, this emblem of Salzburg draws millions of tourists to our “City of Mozart” every year.
The National Park Center brings the alpine adventure world around the Großglockner under one roof in a unique exhibition. In eight "natural areas" you will walk through the extraordinary diversity of the largest protected area in the Alps.

The Treetop Path is Europe’s highest. Together with the Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps, this combination of a 1km long loop path in the treetops and a 200 m long swinging bridge at a height of around 40 m is a project that is unique world-wide.
While enywehere else in the summer months no talk of sledding is, you can experience the gravity of the Maisiflitzer all year round. The "Alpine Coaster" is located at the Maiskogel in Kaprun, right next to the family leisure park. With the lift it goes up to the start and then like on a roller coaster over bridges, waves and through steep curves back into the valley.
