More than 50 years ago, it all began in a very down-to-earth way – with a few guest rooms, shared shower and toilet in the hallway, and breakfast at the family table. Through dedication and genuine hospitality, it gradually grew into a hotel that today stands for warmth, authenticity, and a true family atmosphere in the Salzburg region.

Family Quehenberger

Peter and Elke Quehenberger run the hotel with great passion. Elke is not only the heart of the kitchen but is also active in the back office every day. Peter personally looks after our bus groups, joins them on excursions, and serves our guests in the evening with heartfelt hospitality.

Their daughter Helene is also fully integrated into the daily hotel life – welcoming guests at the reception and always ready with tips for what to do in the region. Their son Alexander also helps out in the family business whenever needed
